Children’s Cell and Gene Therapy Research Center: Advancing Science and Technology in Cell and Gene Therapy
The Children’s Cell and Gene Therapy Research Center, with the goal of advancing science and cutting-edge technologies in the fields of cell therapy and gene therapy, has initiated extensive international collaborations with various countries, including Russia and European nations, from the outset, focusing on the specific needs of children in these fields. These collaborations, in addition to enhancing the center’s scientific and research capabilities, have facilitated the exchange of experiences, technologies, and advanced knowledge, providing a suitable platform for significant progress in the treatment of children’s incurable diseases.
Benefits of International Collaborations:
Membership in the European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT):
Since 2016, the Children’s Cell and Gene Therapy Research Center has been recognized as a full member by the European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT). This membership is a significant achievement for the center and allows it to collaborate alongside other advanced centers worldwide in research, treatment, and clinical practices related to cell and gene therapy. In addition to the exchange of information and data, this membership provides the opportunity to attend scientific conferences and symposia, as well as to participate in large international research projects.
As a result, the international collaborations of the Children’s Cell and Gene Therapy Research Center not only improve the quality of treatments and research but also strengthen Iran’s scientific position globally in the fields of cell therapy and gene therapy.
